We are looking for a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence.Job Overview:As a Sheet Metal Fabricator at Butler Sheetmetal Ltd., you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of various sheet metal products. This includes but is not limited to ductwork, roofs, flashing, gutters, and more. You will work with a variety of sheet metal materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel, using specialized tools and machinery to create precise and accurate products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sheet metal fabrication and a strong attention to detail.Responsibilities:-Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to blueprints, layouts, and engineering specifications.-Operate machinery, such as press brakes, shears, and rollers, to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.-Utilize hand and power tools to trim, file, grind, and smooth metal surfaces.-Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to determine project requirements.-Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments as needed.-Measure and mark sheet metal for cutting and bending using precision measuring instruments.-Install finished sheet metal products on site, ensuring proper fit and alignment.-Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.Qualifications:-Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication required.-Knowledge of sheet metal materials, tools, and equipment.-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.-Strong mathematical skills and ability to accurately measure and mark sheet metal.-Proficient in using hand and power tools.-Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.-Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.-Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.-Experience with welding and soldering is a plus.At Butler Sheetmetal Ltd., we value hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship.
