Description
While we don't currently have roles open on our performance team, we're always on the lookout for incredible people, and slowly building a pipeline of candidates for our Performance Technician position. If you feel your experience and interests align with the following, and you're passionate about the space we're in and the athletes we serve, feel free to leave your résumé with us here.
The Performance Technician is a part-time, hands-on role responsible for the administration of performance testing batteries within our sports science facility. This position supports a critical tier of our holistic human performance assessment, producing key metrics used by our medical and performance teams.
As the in-person representative of our organization, the Performance Technician plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional member experience. The role involves direct engagement with elite and avid athletes, guiding them through sport-specific performance tests in a way that is clear, engaging, and aligned with their goals. We’re looking for someone with high energy and enthusiasm—someone who can keep members engaged, motivated, and excited throughout the full assessment experience.
Technicians are expected to follow standardized procedures, operate cutting-edge sports science technologies, collect and organize performance data, and summarize key findings for internal stakeholders. Success in this role requires a strong background in coaching, customer service, sports science, and exercise physiology, as well as a deep appreciation for holistic health and wellness in the context of athletic performance. This position is based in San Francisco.
