Job Summary
- Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
- Shift time is 8a to 4:30p
- Floating when needed, mileage reimbursement offered
- Certification required at hire
Overview
The CERTIFIED Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Experience
- Less than a year of related experience required
- Phlebotomy experience highly preferred
Education
- High School Diploma OR equivalency required
Certification
Must have one of the following on the first day of employment:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Registered Medical Assistant
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- Certified EMT (EMT-B)
BLS within 90 days of hire date
