As a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll work alongside an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain the skills, confidence, and independence they need to enjoy everyday life.

What You'll Do

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve functional independence
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), therapeutic exercises, and adaptive techniques
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, adaptive equipment, and energy conservation strategies
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation using WellSky

Qualifications

  • Active Maryland Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License Required
  • Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
  • Strong Communication and Documentation Skills
  • Home Health Experience Preferred but Not Required
  • OASIS knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with WellSky Home Health is a plus
  • Passion for Delivering Exceptional Patient-Centered Care
