EHTC is seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering day-to-day human resources support across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, leave administration, performance management, and HR operations.
As a trusted HR partner, you'll work closely with employees and leaders to provide guidance on HR policies, employment practices, and people-related initiatives while helping ensure compliance with employment laws and firm policies. You'll play a key role in supporting a positive employee experience, maintaining accurate HR processes and records, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm through operational excellence and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and timely.
- Maintain employee payroll records within the HRIS.
- Process new hires, compensation changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, HSA/FSA, and voluntary benefits.
- Coordinate employee enrollments, qualifying life events, and benefit changes.
- Administer the annual Open Enrollment process.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee benefit questions and education.
- Coordinate leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other applicable leave programs.
- Coordinate COBRA administration.
- Partner with benefit vendors and brokers to administer plans and resolve employee benefit issues.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruiting activities for experienced hires, interns, and campus recruiting.
- Manage job postings, applicant tracking, candidate communications, and interview scheduling.
- Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation.
- Maintain recruiting relationships with colleges, universities, recruiters, and community partners.
- Participate in recruiting events and career fairs as needed.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Support managers with performance management, coaching, and corrective action processes.
- Assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
- Help foster a positive, respectful, and engaging workplace culture through responsive HR support.
HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain employee personnel files, HR records, and HRIS data.
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Maintain HR policies, forms, and employee communications.
- Coordinate unemployment claims and workers' compensation administration.
- Support HR audits, compliance reporting, and employment verification requests.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information.
Compensation & HR Operations
- Support the annual compensation review process through reporting, data preparation, and HRIS administration.
- Process approved compensation changes within HRIS and payroll systems.
- Maintain compensation records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with HR reporting, workforce analytics, and annual compliance activities.
- Support HR operational initiatives, process improvements, and special projects.
Learning & Employee Development
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Support employee learning and professional development initiatives.
- Assist with administration of the annual performance review process.
- Coordinate employee recognition and engagement programs.
- Maintain employee training records and required compliance tracking.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) or more years of progressive human resources experience with increasing responsibility across multiple HR disciplines.
- Experience administering payroll and employee benefit programs.
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS/payroll systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience with Paylocity or a comparable HRIS and payroll platform.
- Experience working in a public accounting, professional services, consulting, or other fast-paced, client service-oriented environment.
