USE YOUR POWER FOR PURPOSE

The Franklin Operations and OpEx Leader is a key member of the Site Leadership Team, responsible for defining goals and setting objectives across the Production and Warehouse teams, and for leading and advancing Operational Excellence and Pfizer's Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) Production System.

Leading the site's operations team is the critical responsibility of this role. You will guide and coach the Production and Warehouse teams. You will maintain a safe, cGMP-compliant environment in a constant state of inspection readiness, determine manufacturing methods and procedures, and plan production in accordance with continuous improvement, Six Sigma, Lean, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Partnering with the Site Leadership Team and engaging Quality, Validation, Engineering, Maintenance, Technical Services, Supply Chain, Finance, People Experience, and Regulatory, you will coordinate across disciplines to optimize Operations and meet manufacturing, regulatory, and policy requirements. You will own the Operations annual budget and develop mitigation plans to address production variance, embed digital systems into site processes, and contribute to the design of manufacturing equipment, while forecasting Continuous Improvement resource requirements and identifying opportunities to deliver next-level performance and cost competitiveness.

As a people leader, you will demonstrate drive and change agility—balancing competing priorities amid risk and uncertainty—while maintaining a positive work environment that promotes Courage, Excellence, Equity, and Joy, along with colleague engagement and diversity. Drawing on your technical expertise and your understanding of industry and regulatory requirements, you will build colleague capability, institute knowledge-sharing practices, and foster a culture of innovation that thrives on doing better for patients, colleagues, and society.
