Location(s): Brookvale Elementary and Forest Park - TK-5th Grade
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Hours: Mon to Fri, 7 am to 6 pm (with two shifts offered) and no weekends!

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.
We're looking for an early learning professional who:
- Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
- Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
- Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
In this role, you will:
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
- Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- Education - Completion of at least 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development, specifically covering Child Growth and Development, Child, Family and Community, and ECE Curriculum
- Experience - At least 6 months at a licensed preschool (min of 3 hours per day for 50 days)
- Individuals who possess a CDA credential should also have completed at least 6 months of experience working in a licensed preschool (min of 3 hours per day for 50 days)
