We are now looking for a
Manager, Purchasing & Logistics Finance
to join the KONE Purchasing & Logistics finance team to provide core insights & foresights and analyses for decision making and help KONE fulfil our performance goals and strategic ambitions.
You will be based in Espoo, Finland and you will operate across all levels of our global organisation as analyst and sparring partner for KONE’s finance community and the business on a variety of strategic and finance driven topics.
Be a value creation driven finance business analyst for management
Reporting to the Director of Purchasing & Logistics Finance, this is a great opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team and being part of KONE’s wider Finance organization. In this role, where you influence decision-making processes to help KONE Purchasing to improve our strategic direction and performance, you will be responsible for:
Executive level communication: transforming complex data and facts into clear messages to
support the ongoing performance dialogue and business outlook
Forward looking analyses: scenarios, sensitivities, risks and opportunity modelling
Trusted sparring partner to Purchasing & Logistics
Support on Mid-term planning, target setting, forecasting support on fixed cost & savings
Proactively challenges assumptions and scenarios in Purchasing Finance and Purchasing community
forums
Developing performance management on the next level in KONE Purchasing
A variety of ad hoc tasks and project management assignments spanning from short-term forecast
and business impact analysis to larger project assignments within purchasing and finance
Drive continuous improvement of purchasing analytics, reporting, and forecasting processes
Be a strategic minded problem solver and a strong collaborator with critical thinking ability
You are not only a finance professional — you are a strategic business partner who enjoys understanding operational realities and transforming data into actionable insights:
You are curious, proactive, and comfortable challenging assumptions through facts and analysis
Sound finance management background e.g. cost controlling or financial consulting background
with a track record based on a Master’s level degree
You have international experience in a finance business partner, business controller or analyst role in cross-functional environments
You possess solid financial and business analytical skills in combination with an understanding of the firm’s overall performance, value drivers and KPIs.
Strong and advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, experience in using advanced
analytics tools, spreadsheet modelling. PowerBI and AI skills is a clear plus.
Experience evaluating business cases, investment decisions, and cost optimization initiatives
Understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
