Main Responsibilities
1. Supervise day-to-day vessel operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant ship operations in accordance with company procedures and maritime regulations.
2. Coordinate with Ship Masters, Operations, Technical, and Chartering Departments to ensure effective vessel deployment and operational performance.
3. Monitor vessel movements, cargo transfer operations, and overall fleet activities to ensure smooth execution.
4. Review and analyze vessel operational data, including performance, fuel consumption, voyage efficiency, and downtime, and recommend improvements to optimize fleet performance.
5. Ensure the accuracy and validity of vessel documentation, certifications, and maintenance schedules.
6. Identify operational issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain effective communication with customers and other stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in fleet management, marine operations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance, and maritime safety regulations.
- Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
