Amentum is currently seeking for a Crane Operator to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia.
POSITION SUMMARY
Operates various types of cranes, such as mobile, portal, bridge, and fixed cranes.
Equipment is used to lift and move material and to test crane.
May grease, adjust and make emergency repairs to equipment.
May operate trucks, heavy or light.
May perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years (five preferred) load lifting crane operating experience in a professional capacity with a safe operating record.
Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license(CDL) and be able to obtain government driver’s license for size and type vehicles required.
Must be able to pass a company physical and annual physical as required by Dept. of Transportation(DOT).
Must have and wear at all times, hard-toed safety shoes which meet ASTM F2413-05 standards.
Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements necessary for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
