Description
Mfinite Consulting LLC is hiring a Customer Experience Agent to support the City of Greenville's Transit Division at the G.K. Butterfield Transportation Center. This front-facing role is the first point of contact for transit riders-helping people get where they need to go, every day.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person and by phone; answer questions and direct calls to the proper department.
- Sell GREAT bus fare media and Greyhound bus tickets; assist passengers using the ticket vending machine.
- Process and log complimentary ADA applications for GREAT paratransit riders and issue transit ID cards.
- Provide route, schedule, and fare information to transit customers.
- Enter customer requests and complaints into the system and route them to the correct department.
- Accept and store packages on behalf of Greyhound and process Greyhound ticket sales.
- Monitor the NextBus GPS system and alert the Transit Manager or Supervisor to any discrepancies.
Requirements
- 6–12 months of post-secondary vocational, technical, or business training, or equivalent experience.
- Up to one year of relevant customer service or administrative experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer/office software proficiency.
- Valid Class C Driver's License.
- Must pass a background check (criminal history, references, nationwide sex-offender registry check) and a pre-placement 9-panel drug screen.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour, with overtime paid at $27.00 per hour (1.5x) for hours worked over 40 per week.
Schedule
Shifts assigned within: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM–4:30 PM. Closed on major holidays.
