Bookkeeping Onboarding Manager | Monsey, NY · $80,000–$100,000
About the Role A growing bookkeeping team is looking for a hands-on manager to lead the onboarding process for both new clients and new team members. You'll take ownership of client accounts during their critical first 6-8 weeks — identifying what needs to be done, analyzing how to improve the books, and making sure the team is taking great care of each client. This is a great fit for someone who thrives on structure, initiative, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding
- Onboard new clients and guide them through the account setup process
- Identify what needs to be done and analyze how to improve the books
Team Onboarding
- Onboard new employees joining the bookkeeping team
Account Management
- Handle and oversee client accounts for the first 6-8 weeks
- Ensure the bookkeeping team is taking proper care of the client
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong management skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
