We are seeking a talented individual to join our Construction & Completed Civil Works team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Santiago. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. 

As the Leader for Specialty, Construction & Completed Civil Works, you will consult with clients on their service requirements, insurance needs and carriers, providing advice on emerging products and market conditions that impact insurance coverage. This is an opportunity to lead and inspire the Construction & Completed Civil Work business to execute its strategy and deliver business results, by setting direction and empowering teams to perform.

We will count on you to: 

  • Train, mentor and oversee performance management for multiple departments, coordinate and oversee workload of team members and ensure team is appropriately staffed to meet client needs.

  • Manage and oversee proposals to existing clients and prospective clients and lead other important client meetings.

  • Consistently maintain a complete understanding of the clients’ business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs and provide advice accordingly to successfully serve clients.

  • Utilize substantial risk expertise and comprehensive knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients’ exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for the most complex clients’ needs, including recommending additional products and services as solutions.

  • Oversee the development, presentation and execution of renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with Placement, Advisory Leaders and Client Executives across all zones where product, industry or account criteria dictate.

  • Oversee the production of all client deliverables and be responsible for maintaining quality in all area of client deliverables.

  • Engage in independent senior-level client interaction and demonstrate expertise in problem solving, areas of coverage and client relationships.

  • Act as a thought leader within and outside the Company and keep abreast of changing risk and insurance market conditions.
