Description
The Radiology Student has a responsibility to perform a variety of radiographic procedures. The tasks outlined below are expected to be performed based on the department policy. The student will be scheduled to work with a Radiology Technologist to follow department protocols. This position will function with under the supervision and/or direction of registered technologist and/or physician to produce superior quality radiographic images.
- Performs radiographic examinations.
- Transports patients
- Utilize sterile technique.
- Operate equipment.
- Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff and physicians.
- Excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Other duties assigned by lead technologists and/or directors.
Shift: Mon-Thurs, 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Requirements
- Education -Must be entering second year of Radiology accredited School (required)
- BLS certified – certification - obtained from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
