Description
Now Hiring: Full-Time Certified Police Officer
Assignment: Upson Regional Medical Center
The Thomaston Police Department is accepting applications for a Georgia POST-certified Police Officer to serve full-time on the campus of Upson Regional Medical Center.
This is not a contract position.
You are a full-time member of the Police Department with full benefits and support.
Schedule
12-hour shifts
1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
15 working days per month
Every other weekend off
Work half the month.
Have structure in your schedule.
Know when you’re home.
Compensation
$55,400 to $62,500 annually based on training and experience
$7,200 signing bonus
Take-home vehicle with 50-mile radius allowance
Key Responsibilities
Patrol hospital interior and parking areas
Maintain visible law enforcement presence
Lead Emergency Room security operations after hours
Respond to incidents quickly and professionally
Ensure safety of staff, patients, and visitors
Support hospital security as needed
