Job Summary
Central Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy, is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to operate press brake equipment and produce precision metal parts while supporting overall plant operations.

Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Job Function
- Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts to specifications
- Read blueprints, work orders, and instructions to ensure accuracy
- Set up materials, tooling, and machine settings
- Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Perform in-process and final quality checks
- Make adjustments and troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Move materials using forklifts or cranes and assist with general shop duties
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Required Skills
- Valid driver’s license
- 0–5 years of relevant experience (press brake or manufacturing preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Press brake or metal fabrication experience
- High School Diploma or GED
