Description
Our client, a hospital located near Louisville, KY, has a need for a Certified Open Heart Surgical Tech to join their team.
Offering a $30,000 sign on/relocation bonus! Full benefits beginning the first of the following month upon employment including matching 401(k) and front loaded PTO.
The Open Heart Surgery Unit is within our main OR and consists of 3 rooms dedicated specifically to open heart surgery. Procedures include open heart surgery, TAVR, and Aortic Aneurysm repairs in addition to other advanced and complex heart interventions. Generally have about 15 weekly cases.
This is a day shift position and will have weekday call (generally 8 – 10 hour shift); weekend call is every 3rd weekend.
QUALIFICATIONS
- One year of experience in CVOR and cardiovascular surgical services
- Completion of a vocational or military surgical technologist training program
- Certification in Surgical Technology
