Sr. Client Service Representative_Account/Billing Team

The Sr. Client Service Representative in the Client Service Dept. is responsible for day-to-day servicing for Japanese trust banks and asset managers. The individual focuses on assigned functional services in the Global Custody disciplines.  S/he will manage day-to-day activities for assigned client relationships and perform oversight of product offerings to support high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Custody account opening, closing, and maintenance based on clients’ instructions
• Global coordination to open new markets and ensure trade readiness
• Client invoicing and fee receivable management
• System setup related to client onboarding and invoicing
• Managing ad-hoc requests and inquiries from clients and internal teams
• Enhancing workflows and related systems to improve operational efficiency

Leadership/People Management

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of direct reports
• Provide ongoing feedback and coaching staff to improve individual and team performance
• Participate in the interview and selection process for job applicants, and assist new staff members in learning job specific tasks

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in client onboarding, invoicing, or client service within Custody, Trust Banks, or Middle/Back Office functions in Asset Management or Brokerage
• Strong communication skills with experience in client-facing roles
• Experience using Business Intelligence tools and a strong interest in optimizing operational efficiency
• Experience training or supporting others is a plus
• Native-level Japanese and Business-level English proficiency
