AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance.

KR IT Business Support Team

The KR IT Business Support team delivers tailored application solutions that empower AIG Korea business users to achieve their goals effectively and efficiently. We focus on identifying core business requirements, analyzing system impacts, and delivering high-quality applications that fulfill actual user needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting AIGEN, AIG Korea’s fully integrated insurance platform. As a primary IT liaison for key business users, you will clarify requirements, design technical solutions, and lead implementation in collaboration with vendor developers. Your deep knowledge and technical skill will contribute to the business success by delivering optimized application solutions.

How you will create an impact (Key Responsibilities)

• Be responsible for delivering high-quality IT application solutions.
• Identify technical opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the business.
• Understand business users’ needs and analyze strategic business requirements.
• Design technical solutions, analyze impacts among application modules, and develop application systems.
• Maintain and operate application systems and troubleshoot application-related issues.
• Communicate with business users as the primary IT contact point for assigned modules.
• Develop and maintain strong personal and professional relationships with colleagues.

What we’re looking for (Key Capabilities)

• Deep understanding and knowledge of both insurance and IT.
• Experience in insurance application development.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Results-oriented and highly accountable.
• Ability to work on own initiative and pro-actively manage a varied workload.
• Supportive manner and a strong team player.
• Technical Skill Set: Java, JSP, Spring-based framework, xPlatform / Nexacro, UbiReport, SQL (Oracle, Sybase, MS-SQL).
• Language: English proficiency (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is an advantage.

Key Experience

• Work experience in the insurance industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
