As a Sr. Category Supplier Manager, you will develop a category strategy for managed categories, validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers and the respective internal partners and customers. You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, planning and driving negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building positive relationships with internal customers, driving outstanding, cost, supply and resilience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·Category Management & Strategic Sourcing of Facilities Equipment: Establish processes to track collaborator happiness with key suppliers.
·Category Management & Strategic Sourcing of Facilities Equipment: Develop category strategies for managed categories and validate strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers and internal partners.
·Cost Management & Analysis: Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets.
·Negotiation: Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc.
·Business Partnering: Collaborate with Customers to Deliver Strategic Solutions and maintain a strong expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with key customers
·Business Partnering: Drive a customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement while maintaining a collaborative partnership to improve cost-effectiveness, supply chain efficiency, and resilience.
·Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
·Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
Minimum Qualifications:
·7 + years of experience in Semiconductor industry or EPC functions, facilities equipment sales/procurement functions
·Min with a diploma or a bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or related degree and/or equivalent working experience.
·Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing.
·Strong negotiating and analytical skills.
·Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with various individuals involved.
·Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
·Advanced skills in material cost structure understanding and analysis
·Advanced experience using Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools
