Key responsibilities:

·         Lead fundamental equity research across the Information Technology, semiconductor sectors or cyclical sectors, with a primary focus on companies in Asia and other major global markets.

·         Develop differentiated, high-conviction investment ideas based on fundamental research, industry analysis, company engagement, and valuation discipline.

·         Prepare detailed company research, financial models, earnings forecasts, valuation analyses, investment theses, and risk assessments.

·         Support multi asset portfolio managers in portfolio management, including market surveillance, portfolio construction, active monitoring and investment analysis of portfolio holdings.

·         Prepare documentation for decision making of Investment Committee and investment process.

·         Follow and report on market-moving news flow within assigned areas on a timely basis.

·         Ad hoc tasks assigned by portfolio managers.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance Economics, or a related field.

·         Typically 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment management, or a comparable analytical role.

·         An engineering or technical background combined with strong financial analysis experience would be a plus.

·         Collaborative working style and willingness to challenge and be challenged constructively.

·         High standards of integrity, accountability, and professional conduct.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

·         Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to work in a multi-cultural environment. Mandarin language skills are a plus.

·         Expertise in the semiconductor and Information technology sectors

·         Proficient user of Microsoft Office, Bloomberg and Bloomberg Excel.
