Description

Job Summary

The Associate Partner Development Manager executes and evolves the growth strategy for a single assigned Genetec, translating partner priorities into seller-ready programs, offers, enablement, and services-attached motions. The role collaborates across Sales, Marketing, Delivery, Presales, and partner stakeholders to drive revenue growth, investment utilization, and partner adoption, while providing insights that help inform broader partner strategy and future go-to-market priorities. Compared with the Partner Development Manager, scope is a single partner rather than a portfolio or category, the planning horizon is annual rather than multi-year, and executive engagement is supported rather than owned. This is an individual contributor role working across PPM, Sales, Marketing, Delivery, Presales, and partner stakeholders. Success is measured by partner revenue and margin growth, investment utilization, seller adoption, and services attach.

Scope alignment: This role typically aligns to a single partner. The assigned scope for this position is Genetec and Category/Solution focus.

What you will do:

Partner Planning & Growth

  • Build and execute the annual business plan for the assigned Genetec, aligning growth, investment, enablement, and pipeline priorities to established partner objectives.
  • Translate partner programs, promotions, and roadmap updates into seller-ready plays, offers, and enablement activities.
  • Manage day-to-day partner engagement and support broader relationship management activities led by PPM leadership.
  • Monitor market, competitive, and program trends affecting the assigned partner and provide recommendations to improve performance and execution.

Investment, Offers & Demand

  • Deploy partner investment (MDF, co-op, and program funding) into offers, campaigns, and enablement, and report utilization and return.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Pricing, and cross-functional teams to develop customer offers, bundles, and promotions that support growth objectives.
  • Support digital performance across CDW.com and CDWG.com, including merchandising, content accuracy, program updates, and product lifecycle transitions.
  • Contribute to Partner Controllable Margin (PCM), revenue, and demand generation objectives through effective program, pricing, and investment execution.

Field Enablement & Services Attach

  • Equip sellers with the plays, messaging, and enablement that build awareness and adoption of the partner across sales territories.
  • Drive services attached to the partner's product motions, working with Delivery and Presales to pair CDW services with the partner's portfolio.
  • Support co-sell activities, account mapping, opportunity registration, and joint engagement efforts with partner and CDW sales teams.
  • Analyze pipeline, enablement, investment, and services performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations that help shape future partner priorities and go-to-market execution.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Targets to be defined per fiscal-year plan.
  • Partner revenue and margin growth
  • Business plan attainment
  • Partner investment utilization and return
  • Seller awareness, enablement reach, and adoption
  • Services attach on the partner's product motions

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in partner management, product management, sales, marketing, or a related function, OR
  • 9 years of experience in partner management, product management, sales, marketing, related function, OR
  • 4 years of CDW PPM experience and 5 years of experience in a related function
  • Experience building and executing a business or partner plan and reporting against it
  • Working knowledge of partner investment mechanics (MDF, co-op, rebates) and how funding converts into demand
  • Demonstrated financial and analytical skills, including margin and pricing acumen
  • Strong communication and relationship skills, with the ability to work across functions without direct authority
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM (Salesforce), and relevant business applications
  • Up to 20% travel may be required based on assigned scope. [Tailor by role and business need]
