# Position Overview
Citi’s Analytics & Information Management (AIM) organization is seeking an experienced, visionary, and delivery-focused AI Program Lead (Vice President - C13) based in Gurugram. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be instrumental in executing the Legal Chief Operating Office (Legal COO) AI Implementation Priorities under the OMAI (Operating Model & AI) initiatives.
Reporting directly to a Senior Vice President (SVP), you will serve as the strategic bridge connecting Legal leadership, Business stakeholders, Technology partners, and Advanced Analytics teams. You will chair strategic forums and working groups with senior Legal and business executives to translate business challenges into transformative AI strategies. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of Citi’s in-house Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, establishing robust governance, risk management, and adoption frameworks to ensure compliant, scalable, and mission-critical implementation across the global enterprise.
# Key Responsibilities
## 1\. Strategic Program Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment
- Chair, facilitate, and steer high-level discussions with senior Legal executives, Business representatives, and Technology leaders to drive consensus on AI priorities, roadmaps, and delivery milestones.
- Champion the Legal COO Operating Model & AI (OMAI) roadmap, ensuring AI programs align with the overarching enterprise strategy, legal operational excellence, and regulatory mandates.
- Translate complex legal processes, compliance obligations, and business challenges into actionable AI transformation roadmaps and technical deliverables.
## 2\. End-to-End Delivery of In-House Agentic & Generative AI Solutions
- Lead the program lifecycle for designing, developing, and deploying proprietary Agentic AI systems, Generative AI applications, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) frameworks tailored to legal workflows (e.g., contract analysis, legal research, matter management, spend optimization).
- Collaborate with Analytics/AI Engineering teams utilizing state-of-the-art architectures (e.g., LangGraph, LangChain, multi-agent orchestrations, memory management, and feedback loops).
- Establish and track detailed program plans, milestones, resource allocation, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business impact and return on investment (ROI).
## 3\. Comprehensive AI Governance, Risk & Controls
- Drive rigorous governance and control standards across all in-house Agentic builds, addressing hallucination control, output validation, model monitoring, and data lineage.
- Ensure all AI implementations adhere to Citi’s Data Governance, Model Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Intellectual Property, and Data Privacy policies.
- Lead regulatory and compliance alignment, embedding auditability, responsible AI principles, and robust risk frameworks into every stage of the AI lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive tracking of Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID logs), proactively resolving roadblocks and escalating critical items to senior governance committees.
## 4\. Business Analysis, Process Engineering & Change Management
- Direct business analysis workstreams, collaborating with Legal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and detailed "As-Is" vs. "To-Be" workflow architectures.
- Design and execute structured change management, communication, and user enablement strategies to drive widespread adoption of AI tools across global legal teams.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews, monitor user feedback loops, and iterate on deployed AI capabilities to foster continuous operational improvement.
## 5\. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Partner Management
- Coordinate seamlessly between internal Tech/Data platforms and external specialized AI vendors to guarantee delivery quality and system interoperability.
- Foster a culture of technical innovation, transparency, and high performance within cross-functional matrix teams across global geographies.
