As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Response in Florence, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting security-related operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
