Description

## What you’ll do:

Engineering Operations Leadership

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary organization of engineers, designers, technical leads, and specialists supporting ETO, COE, COD, wiring diagrams, application engineering, layout and design, and manufacturing support for LVA and Busway.
  • Own engineering execution from customer specification and order configuration through customer-approval drawings, detailed electrical and mechanical design, bills of material, manufacturing release, as-built updates, and engineering-change closure.
  • Deliver on-time engineering releases, first-time-right quality, productivity, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with product standards and plant processes.
  • Establish capacity, workload, outsourcing, and cross-training plans that provide flexible support across low-voltage assembly and busway demand.
  • Drive operating rhythms for backlog, engineering completion, order complexity, quality defects, change notices, risk escalation, recovery plans, and plant support.

Product-Line and Technical Leadership

  • Serve as the technical and organizational leader for Low Voltage Assembly and Busway engineering. Ensure leaders and teams understand product architecture, application boundaries, configuration rules, electrical and mechanical interfaces, manufacturing constraints, installation dependencies, and test requirements.
  • For LVA, guide engineering for Magnum PXR and Magnum DS low-voltage switchgear, including rear-access, front-access, arc-resistant, arc-quenching, NRX, OEM, indoor, and outdoor configurations supported by the product line.
  • Ensure strong LVA knowledge of UL 1558 and UL 891 applications; main, tie, feeder, transition, auxiliary, metering, and control sections; breaker selection and application; horizontal and vertical bus; risers, runbacks, stabs, bracing, grounding and neutral systems; cable and conduit entry; control power; current and voltage transformers; protection, metering, communications, interlocks, automatic-transfer and power-control schemes; one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, and customer-connection requirements.

Engineering Systems, Digital Thread, and Continuous Improvement
