The role combines hands-on experimental laboratory work with technology and product development. You will work with the design, synthesis and characterization of chromatography base matrices and contribute to understanding how material properties and manufacturing parameters influence resin performance.

What you will do

  • Plan, execute, analyze and document experimental work within base matrix and chromatography resin development.
  • Perform hands-on laboratory work within particle generation, polymer chemistry and related synthesis technologies.
  • Develop and improve methods, processes and experimental approaches for base matrix development.
  • Independently troubleshoot technical problems and propose experimental solutions.
  • Independently plan and deliver assigned activities against project objectives and communicate risks when timelines or technical objectives may not be met.
  • Document and communicate results through laboratory documentation, technical reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across R&D and other functions involved in product and process development.

Who you are

  • MSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Biotechnology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of practical experimental work in a chemistry or materials laboratory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to plan, execute and document experimental work in a structured manner.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • English and Swedish as a working language.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Polysaccharide chemistry
  • Polymer chemistry
  • Emulsification and particle-generation technologies
  • Chromatography resins or separation materials
  • Experimental design / DoE
  • Material and particle characterization
  • Product or process development within life sciences
  • Automation, parallel experimentation or high-throughput experimentation

Join our winning team today. Together, we’ll accelerate the real-life impact of tomorrow’s science and technology. We partner with customers across the globe to help them solve their most complex challenges, architecting solutions that bring the power of science to life.
