About the role:

Plans, coordinates, and directs maintenance activities within the assigned section; implements efficient maintenance practices and initiates improvement actions to enhance operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and overall section performance.

In detail, you will: 

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automation equipment and systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA platforms, and robotics.

• Cooperate in minimizing downtime and support the implementation of 5S, SMED, and TPM programs.

• Implement and supervise production standards in compliance with the Electrolux Manufacturing System (EMS).

• Participate with the Maintenance Leader and Maintenance Manager in developing preventive and predictive maintenance plans and programs for all factory equipment, and supervise their execution.

• Plan, execute, and follow up on preventive and autonomous maintenance plans for equipment.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve manufacturing and maintenance issues within established deadlines.

• Analyze recurring failures, identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and supervise their implementation to reduce recurrence.

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Leader to define technical specifications for mechanical and electrical spare parts and recommend suitable alternatives when needed.

• Monitor pre-maintenance preparations and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure the timely availability of spare parts.

• Review inspection reports and supervise repair activities to minimize production delays, while analyzing the causes and recurrence of failures.

• Report budget variances to the Maintenance Leader and Manager, monitor departmental expenses, and support cost-reduction initiatives.

• Maintain and update equipment records and technical documentation for all machinery and tools.

• Ensure the availability and proper utilization of maintenance tools and equipment.

• Adhere to and enforce technical standards and procedures.

• Follow up on daily maintenance requests with technicians and ensure timely completion.

• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements relevant to the maintenance department.

• Maintain equipment, factory facilities, and utilities in good working condition.

• Manage multiple priorities and achieve daily production targets while continuously reducing downtime.

• Coordinate and monitor maintenance work assigned to the production department.

• Support product cost-reduction initiatives through effective maintenance activities.

• Recommend and support improvements in spare parts warehouse organization and management.

• Improve technicians' performance through appropriate training and development programs.

• Evaluate employees' performance and identify development opportunities.

• Implement Lean Manufacturing projects as required.

• Improve health and safety conditions within the assigned area of responsibility.

• Reduce environmental impact and support the implementation of a Zero Landfill Waste Management System.

Organizational Relationships:

·       Supervises Maintenance Technicians.

·       Maintains functional relationships with all plant departments.

·       Coordinates with external suppliers and service providers.

Who you are / Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

• 1-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably within the home appliances manufacturing industry.

• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

• Proficient in MS Office applications and general computer skills.

• Strong leadership potential and interpersonal skills.
