As our Technology Director, you will take on a unique, split-role, guiding our clients’ tech strategies while ensuring our technology roadmap is future-ready. This is your chance to have a broad impact - leading the delivery of innovative, competitive solutions for our B2C clients while making sure IMPACT’s vision stays ahead of the market curve.

Externally, you will be the face of technology for our clients, providing expert guidance and driving the technical direction of high-stakes projects. Internally, you’ll be responsible for crafting a tech strategy that empowers our teams, streamlines our operations, and sets a clear vision for sustained innovation.

Looking into responsibilities, here is how you will make a difference:

1. Client-Focused Leadership

• Lead the charge in delivering technical excellence for our clients - overseeing architecture, design, and implementation of Unified Omnichannel Commerce solutions that transform their business.

• Act as the primary technical advisor to key clients, guiding them through complex decisions and presenting innovative tech roadmaps that align with their business goals.

• Be hands-on during client engagements, from initial proposal to project delivery, translating technical complexities into clear business value and ensuring seamless execution.

• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that our client offerings are always innovative and competitive.

2. Strategic Vision

• Build and maintain a future-ready tech vision for IMPACT B2C, ensuring our processes and technologies evolve in step with market demands.

• Work closely with our leadership team to align technology strategies with broader business objectives, making sure our internal setup is as cutting-edge as the solutions we offer to clients.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—sales, marketing, product, and development—to ensure our technology and business strategies are fully integrated.

• Mentor and guide internal teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning, innovation, and tech mastery.

3. Collaborate & Inspire

• Build strong, lasting relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders, both internally and with clients, to ensure technology is always seen as a strategic enabler.

• Lead technical workshops and internal training to empower teams with the knowledge and tools to excel in a fast-paced, evolving industry.

• Inspire and guide teams on both sides of the fence—mentoring internal developers while also advising client teams on how to get the most out of their tech investments.
  

YOUR PROFILE

As Technology Director, we imagine that you have experience in a leadership role such as CTO, Senior Technology Director, or similar, with a strong track record in digital transformation projects in the following areas: Composable Commerce, Omnichannel, Unified Commerce, Retail, Order Management (OMS), Content Management Systems (CMS), Integration platforms, Marketing Automation and Loyalty programs.

Additionally, we expect you to

• Proven ability to balance client-facing responsibilities with internal leadership—ensuring that both client delivery and internal innovation thrive under your guidance.

• Strong consultancy skills, able to translate complex technical ideas into clear, actionable insights for clients and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience leading high-performance teams and delivering large-scale, high-impact commerce projects.

• A global mindset with international experience and the ability to lead in diverse environments.

• The ability to articulate a clear, visionary tech strategy and guide teams towards its successful execution.
