Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an AI Developer to design and build secure, scalable and production-ready software solutions incorporating artificial intelligence and machine-learning capabilities.
The successful candidate will collaborate with product, data, platform and engineering teams to integrate machine-learning models and generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications within a Capital Markets environment.
What we need your help with
AI Application Development
• Design and develop AI-enabled applications, services and APIs.
• Integrate machine-learning models and generative AI capabilities into enterprise systems.
• Develop prompts, model interactions and application logic for AI use cases.
• Build secure, scalable and reliable solutions that meet enterprise production standards.
Data, Retrieval & Model Integration
• Build data-processing, retrieval, evaluation and model-integration workflows.
• Develop solutions using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings and vector databases.
• Support model evaluation, performance measurement and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, data and model-related issues.
Engineering Excellence & Collaboration
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging and performance measurement.
• Collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers, business analysts and product owners.
• Apply security, privacy, responsible-AI and governance practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document technical designs, interfaces and operational processes.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies and continuous-improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for
• Experience in software development using Python and/or another modern programming language.
• Experience developing APIs, services and production-grade applications.
• Practical experience with machine learning, natural-language processing and/or generative AI.
• Experience with cloud platforms, databases, version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of software testing, application security and solution architecture.
• Experience with large language models, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings and/or vector databases.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel or comparable technologies.
• Experience with MLflow, model evaluation or model-serving platforms is an asset.
• Knowledge of data privacy, responsible-AI principles and regulated enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Previous Capital Markets experience is required.
