What You'll Do
This role owns the quoting and sourcing process for connectivity, voice, wireless, and other technology services through Ten4's provider network. You'll work closely with Sales, Account Management, and Order Management to understand what customers need, evaluate options, negotiate pricing, and deliver accurate quotes on time.
- Confirm customer requirements for each sourcing request are complete and technically sound, working with Sales, Account Management, and customers to resolve gaps while addressing availability and customer needs.
- Own each sourcing request from intake through handoff and follow up with providers to keep quotes moving to meet expected timelines.
- Negotiate competitive rates and terms with TSDs, carriers, and other providers to identify solutions and request pricing.
- Build strong working relationships with carriers, TSDs, and other technology partners to improve pricing, responsiveness, and available options.
- Develop corrective action plans to mitigate impact to project schedules and overall business objectives.
- Compare pricing, commissions, contract terms, and available alternatives against customer needs and Ten4 pricing standards to recommend the best solution to Sales and Account Management, including opportunities to reduce costs, consolidate services, improve performance, and flag timeline or other issues.
- Review quotes, contracts, and supporting documents for accurate pricing, service details, terms, and billing information, keeping records accurate and current in the portal.
- Coordinate with Order Management and other teams to ensure approved solutions have the information and documentation needed for implementation.
- Stay current on technology, provider offerings, and industry changes.
- Identify and implement internal process improvements that make sourcing and quoting faster and more accurate.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience in telecom order management, technology quoting, carrier sales, or related job.
- Understanding of telecom services, carrier pricing, contracts, and provider relationships preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to evaluate technical requirements of telecom products and services, compare solutions, and make recommendations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to accurately manage multiple requests and deadlines
- Professional, pro-active and clear communication style with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, providers, and internal teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability and willingness to effectively utilize and leverage company level AI resources
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
