Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Public Venue in Boston MA

Saturday - Wednesday 8 AM - 4 PM 

Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

As a Security Officer in BOSTON, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic marketplace location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, vendors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report access concerns or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document daily activities, incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns in required reports and communicate relevant information to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
