Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated IT support team, providing mentorship, fostering collaboration, and building a culture that embraces diversity and inclusion.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard sensitive data and prevent security breaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and deploy innovative IT solutions that enhance business processes and customer experiences.
• Monitor and mitigate IT risks, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational security requirements.
• Manage IT budgets, vendors, and procurement processes with a focus on cost efficiency and value creation.

• Provide thought leadership around advancements in IT, cybersecurity, and software engineering trends to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) are a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Manager or in a similar leadership role, with strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software engineering practices.
• Proficient in IT systems, networking, cloud technologies, and software development.
• Strong knowledge of managing security protocols such as firewalls, data encryption, and cybersecurity threats.
• Experience in project management with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects to successful completion.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in diverse teams.

Day-to-Day

• Oversee day-to-day management of IT infrastructure and ensure all systems run smoothly and securely.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot IT issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct regular team check-ins, track progress on objectives, and provide guidance to team members.
• Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement upgrades or optimizations as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and assess new tools or software that could benefit the organization.
• Develop and present reports to senior leadership on IT operations, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure quick and effective resolution of cybersecurity incidents and IT system outages.
