Marketing Specialist

Summary

We are looking to hire a Marketing Specialist to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for planning and managing our offline activation campaigns, PR campaigns, and company events, working closely with agencies and suppliers to deliver high-impact experiences at the best value. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, a strong negotiator, and has an eye for detail.

Responsibilities 

• Plan offline activation campaigns from start to finish, including objectives, target audience, locations, timelines, budgets, and required resources
• Manage the execution of offline activation campaigns on the ground, overseeing setup, teams, materials, and logistics to ensure every activation runs smoothly and on schedule
• Plan PR campaigns that build brand awareness and reputation, including media outreach, press releases, and coordination with media outlets
• Plan and organize different company events (such as launches, exhibitions, conferences, and internal events) from concept through execution
• Act as the main point of contact with advertising, activation, PR, and event agencies; brief them clearly, follow up on deliverables, and ensure quality and deadlines are met
• Request and compare quotations from multiple agencies and suppliers, and negotiate to get the best offer and value for every activation
• Develop new and creative ideas to improve activations and increase audience engagement and impact
• Measure and report on the results of activations, PR campaigns, and events (reach, attendance, leads, and cost versus budget), and apply lessons learned to future plans
• Keep up with market trends and competitor activities to ensure activations and events stay fresh and relevant

Qualifications & Work Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communication, or a relevant field
• 1-2 years of proven experience in marketing, preferably in offline (BTL) activations, PR, or event management
• Hands-on experience working with and managing agencies and suppliers
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage budgets and compare vendor offers
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple activations and events at the same time
• Creativity and ability to develop innovative activation and event concepts
• Willingness to work in the field and occasionally outside regular working hours during activations and events
• Knowledge of PR and media relations is a plus
