  • We stand behind our people.
  • We foster an environment for constant learning.
  • We engineer change for a more stable and sustainable world.

YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE

We’re looking for a PER Lab Supervisor to join our Global Quality team in Easton, PA. In this role, you’ll provide leadership and operational oversight for our laboratory operations, managing Product Evaluation Request (PER) logistics from initiation through material handling, assignment, analysis, review, and final closeout — while leading a team of laboratory technicians. You’ll work closely with Quality Assurance, Application Engineering, and Sales to ensure the highest standards of product quality and compliance. This is an opportunity to drive continuous improvement and shape how our lab operates at a global scale.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN

  • Provide direct leadership and supervision for laboratory operations and technical staff, focusing on performance management, workflow efficiency, and staff development.
  • Oversee daily lab operations, ensuring effective prioritization of work to meet business needs.
  • Manage comprehensive PER logistics from initiation through material handling, assignment, analysis, review, and final closeout.
  • Ensure timely, prioritized lab review of all PERs according to established protocols; identify and remove process bottlenecks, standardize workflows, and implement process improvements.
  • Communicate critical findings and recommendations to Quality Assurance, Application Engineering, and Sales teams.
  • Develop, implement, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for laboratory operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of laboratory activities and results.
  • Implement corrective action programs based on analysis of quality data and testing outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies within the laboratory environment.
  • Serve as coach and mentor to laboratory and technical staff, fostering accountability, engagement, and growth.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance, with a demonstrated history managing laboratory operations or customer incident management systems.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and operational processes in a structured environment, with experience driving process improvements, workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and statistical analysis tools, with knowledge of quality management systems and testing equipment.
  • Understanding of corrective action programs and root cause analysis methodologies, along with familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies, and the ability to travel globally.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Previous experience managing laboratory personnel and technicians.
  • Background in mechanical systems, pipe joining, or related industrial applications.

WHAT WE OFFER

Build A Better Career

  • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives
  • Career development programs and internal promotion pathways—we build from within
