School of Law

The School of Law, established in 2025, evolved from the former Graduate School of Business and Law. Situated in the historic Emily McPherson Building, it offers RMIT law students an engaging and dynamic learning environment, enriched by state-of-the-art resources, experienced teaching staff, and strong industry connections.

As one of four schools within RMIT’s College of Business and Law, the School delivers the Bachelor of Laws (including double degrees) and the Juris Doctor program, both accredited by the Victorian Legal Admissions Board.

Committed to excellence in teaching and research, the School prepares students for the demands of the legal profession and beyond. Its curriculum covers all core law subjects, complemented by a wide range of electives and practical skills development, including advocacy, interviewing, and negotiation simulations. The School also fosters a collegial and supportive community that encourages both academic and professional growth.

Further information regarding RMIT’s School of Law and our programs can be found here.
