About the Position:
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Sales & Customer Support Representative to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, preparing and following up on quotes, coordinating orders, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent communication and attention to detail.
This is an onsite position and will work closely with our Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Laboratory teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and follow up on customer quotes and proposals.
- Follow up with customers regarding open quotes and opportunities.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate customer orders from quote through completion.
- Review orders and quotes for accuracy and completeness.
- Work with internal departments to resolve customer questions and issues.
- Assist customers with changes, corrections, and order-related questions.
- Schedule and participate in customer meetings, including Teams meetings for custom projects.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information in company systems.
- Follow up on pending customer requests to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Work closely with other members of the Sales team to ensure customers receive timely responses.
- Assist with administrative and technical tasks related to customer accounts and orders.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service and sales processes.
- Take ownership of customer issues and see them through to resolution.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, inside sales, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities at the same time.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow up consistently and keep track of open items.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, email, and video conference.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Good computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Experience working with quotes, orders, CRM systems, or ERP systems is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, technical sales or inside sales.
- Experience working in a technical, laboratory, manufacturing, engineering, or B2B environment is a plus.
- Experience preparing customer quotes and managing sales opportunities.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, Teams, CRM, ERP, or similar business systems.
