The Position:
AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Corporate Front Desk Receptionist (Part-Time)-Junior to support the AMEWAS Corporate Office. The hourly range of this position is $21.00/hour and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.

Work Arrangement:
Remote or hybrid work arrangements are subject to business, contract, customer, and/or government requirements and may be modified or discontinued as needed. The Company reserves the right to require an employee to report to a designated Company or customer worksite when business or contractual requirements change.
A typical day as a Corporate Front Desk Receptionist (Part-Time)-Junior may include:
- Supports the front desk Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Answers/Directs phone calls and visitors
- Assists with a variety of clerical and administrative duties
- Processes all incoming and outgoing mail for the company
- Maintains conference room schedules
- Helps departments prepare for meetings (tracking RSVPS, ordering food, preparing the space, etc.)
- Maintains AMEWAS office supplies (inventory, price comparison, ordering, etc.)
- Supports the Human Resources and Recruiting departments with celebrations, social committee events, RSVPs for company events, Christmas invitations, AMEWAS gear inventory, etc.
- Supports the Security Department with access control and processing visitors in accordance with regulations
- Supports the Accounts Payable department with processing outgoing mail, vendor invoices, verification of payment, credit cards, filing expense reports, and tracking consultant invoices
- Provides administrative support to individuals, teams, departments, and other groups at AMEWAS
Must-haves:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- 1 year of experience working in a professional office environment
- Experience answering multi-line phones in a professional manner and directing calls to leadership
- Experience in customer service
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- The ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Current clearance required upon onboarding: N/A
- Additional Accesses: The ability to obtain and maintain the DoD security clearance eligibility and/or additional security access requirements necessary to perform the duties of the position, as required by the contract. U.S. Citizenship is required for all clearances.

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:
The physical environment for this position requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site or near the work site.
