Job Description

As a Security Officer Secret Clearance Required Unarmed Alarm Patrol in Williamsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, access issues, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
