Job Title: Maintenance Facility Support (3rd Shift)
Location: Cullman, AL
Shift: 3rd Shift | Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Position Type: Full-Time
Starting Pay: $21.53/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential (Total starting rate of $22.53/hour)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Facility Support team member to join our 3rd shift Maintenance Department. In this role, you will be responsible for handling vital, labor-intensive tasks assigned by the Team Leader to keep our facility running safely and efficiently. Essential Functions

• Facility Cleanliness: Operate and maintain the floor sweeper. Empty all trash containment vessels and operate the trash compactor to keep the plant clear of debris.
• Hazard Response: Promptly address and clean up any noticeable floor concerns such as water, oil, or coolant spills to prevent workplace accidents.
• Equipment & Shop Care: Clean and maintain the shop floor and machinery as assigned. Develop a general knowledge of all job-related equipment and work instructions.
• Material Handling: Operate a forklift safely to move product throughout the facility. Repair and stack wood dunnage as required.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times while strictly adhering to all company safety procedures.
• Team Support: Perform other duties and labor-intensive tasks as assigned by the Team Leader to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a labor-intensive, manufacturing, or facility maintenance role preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift and floor sweeping machinery.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the 3rd shift.
• Physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
