We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and strategic Practice Administrator to lead complex, multisite ambulatory operations, support top physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, and help patients and families navigate complex neurological care. In this leadership role, you'll oversee practice operations, develop high-performing teams, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, financial performance, and the patient experience across multiple locations and clinical programs.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple locations and complex, multidisciplinary practices, ensuring efficient and consistent operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop practice managers, coordinators, and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, administrative policies, and operational improvements that support existing and emerging clinical programs.
- Partner with physician leadership, clinical teams, and departmental stakeholders to advance organizational priorities and support exceptional patient care.
- Oversee physician onboarding and administrative functions, including credentialing, compensation, provider enrollment, and the establishment of new practices.
- Direct financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting across clinical operations, supporting fiscal responsibility and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, institutional policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional meetings and collaborate with institutional leadership to advance departmental goals and navigate evolving operational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required; master's degree preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5–7 years of supervisory experience required.
- 5–7 years of experience working in a healthcare environment required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and collaborate effectively with staff at all organizational levels.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), physician billing, and revenue cycle management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, adapt to rapidly changing demands, and meet deadlines in a complex healthcare environment.
