Shift: 6 AM-2 PM
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily Team Supervision
- Lead and direct a team of skilled technicians across multiple shifts
- Assign daily work orders, monitor progress, and provide hands-on guidance and support
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and airport regulations
Operational Oversight:
Oversee maintenance and repair activities related to:
- HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting
- General terminal and hangar upkeep
- Work Coordination & Execution:
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality control and proactive issue resolution
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison between technicians and the Facility Program Manager
- Provide feedback on team performance and resource needs
- Assist with inventory management and contractor coordination
Requirements
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred
- 5+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance
- 2+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role
- Prior experience in airport, transportation, or commercial facility settings strongly preferred
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check (Keystone Management and FAA compliant)
- Must pass the Ronald Reagan National Airport SIDA badge and driver’s test within two attempts
- Valid driver’s license and MVR check required
