Description
Key Responsibilities
• Administer the Knox Manage platform, including directory (user/group) synchronization, admin RBAC, license utilization, and service integrations (Managed Google Play, certificates).
• Configure and maintain device policies, profiles, and compliance rules (password, encryption, restrictions, Wi-Fi/VPN/Email); monitor and remediate non-compliant devices.
• Manage the device lifecycle: enrollment (KME / Android Enterprise), remote lock/wipe for lost or departing-user devices, and inactive device decommissioning.
• Deploy and maintain public, third-party SaaS, and in-house mobile applications, including target groups, version updates, and managed app configuration.
• Validate compatibility of new device models, Android OS/One UI upgrades, Knox Manage releases, and new features (COPE, Knox Guard, DeX) before production rollout.
• Troubleshoot device, OS, and app incidents as Tier 2; escalate to Samsung Knox/vendor support and drive issues to resolution with RCA and KB updates.
• Follow change management procedures; prepare the monthly operations report and maintain SOPs and configuration baseline documentation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience administering an enterprise EMM/MDM/UEM solution (Samsung Knox Manage, Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, MobileIron/Ivanti, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Android Enterprise (Work Profile, Fully Managed, COPE) and Managed Google Play app deployment.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory / Entra ID integration, certificate-based authentication, and Wi-Fi/VPN profile configuration.
• Experience in an ITIL-based support environment (incident, problem, and change management) using a ticketing system such as Salesforce.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to produce clear reports and documentation.
• Ability to work on-site and occasionally outside business hours for maintenance windows or critical incidents.
Preferred Qualifications
• Direct experience with the Samsung Knox suite (Knox Manage, Knox Mobile Enrollment, Knox Guard, Knox Service Plugin).
• Certifications such as Samsung Knox Certified, Microsoft MD-102, CompTIA Mobility+/Security+, or ITIL 4 Foundation.
• Experience supporting a Samsung or other large global enterprise environment.
Pay Range: $53,000 to $78,000/year
