## What you’ll do:
The Associate Logistics Scheduler is responsible for daily transport execution, coordinating, and optimizing delivery schedules to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods, Logistics documentation and maintaining MIS for the sites. This role involves collaborating with carriers, suppliers, warehouse teams, and customers to streamline logistics operations while minimizing costs and maximizing service levels. This position requires to work on 6pm to 3am IST shift
- Shipment Execution: Manage critical domestic and international inbound and outbound shipments for Eaton sites.
- Planning and Communication: Ensure proactive shipment-level planning and communication with partners, suppliers, customers, Material Planners, and Sales teams to improve forecast accuracy, execution, inventory balance, service, and cost.
- KPI Delivery: Drive performance against OTD, accuracy, lead time, cost, quality, utilization, and mode-compliance targets.
- Carrier Management: Coordinate with Air, Ocean, Road, and Parcel carriers; monitor performance; resolve delays and service issues; and track carrier errors, in-transit damage, and lost shipments.
- Operational Risk Management: Anticipate operational challenges and work with partners to prevent or minimize disruptions.
- Fleet and Mode Management: Monitor fleet activity, assign pick-ups, improve dedicated-network performance, increase mode utilization, and identify shipment-consolidation opportunities.
- Customer Service: Resolve internal customer issues promptly and professionally, with clear and proactive communication.
- Analytics and Reporting: Analyze logistics data to identify network improvements, reduce cost, establish standard compliance and performance reporting, and create detailed management and financial reports.
- Cost-Out: Deliver site logistics cost-out and maintain a pipeline of opportunities for upcoming years.
- Spot Quotations and Claims: Support spot quotations, raise damage claims with insurance companies, and maintain the claim tracker.
- Freight Invoice Management: Validate freight invoices and complete approvals in the relevant system.
- Process Standardization: Support process standardization, continuous improvement, and the adoption of consistent logistics operating practices.
- Systems and Tools: Use SAP, Salesforce, MS Office, TMS, CRM, and data-mining techniques to improve operational effectiveness.
## Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics operations.
## Skills:
- Preferred supply chain management qualification from an accredited institute
- Experience in a shared services center environment is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of global logistics, shipment execution, transportation modes, and factors affecting logistics performance.
- Ability to anticipate logistics issues and proactively drive resolution.
