About Toll Group
At Toll, we do more than just logistics - we move the businesses that move the world. Our 16,000 team members can help solve any logistics, transport, or supply chain challenge – big or small. We have been supporting our customers for more than 130 years. Today, we support more than 20,000 customers worldwide with 500 sites in 27 markets, and a forwarding network spanning 150 countries. We are proudly part of Japan Post — www.tollgroup.com
1. Plan the daily outbound workload from released shipments/trips and the transport schedule; assign pickers, checkers, MHE drivers and loading bays; brief the team at the start-of-shift toolbox talk.
2. Supervise picking of full pallets, loose cartons and pails, drums (yard) and IBC according to WMS pick tasks and FIFO/FEFO allocation; ensure batch mixing rules and minimum residual shelf-life requirements are respected.
3. Ensure the documented double-check before loading (picker and checker initials) is performed on every order and that the product appearance check per pallet / container (no leaks, damage, correct labels, stretch wrap, no overhang) is passed before loading.
4. Supervise loading of trucks and export containers: safe loading pattern, load restraint, container checklist and photographs of the loaded container per BP procedure; refuse unsafe or unsuitable vehicles.
5. Ensure pick / shipment confirmation is completed in WMS so that JDE invoices and delivery documents can be issued by the admin team before the vehicle departs; chase open shipments before end of shift.
6. Coordinate with the BP transport team and 3P transporters on vehicle arrival, bay allocation, loading sequence and delays; keep the staging area organised.
7. Manage returned stock and cancelled orders on the floor: receive, inspect, segregate and hand over to inventory control with documentation.
8. Run and record MHE pre-use checks; stop any forklift with a defect; ensure only trained, authorised drivers operate PME and that cameras (360° and mast) are working.
9. Maintain 5S, housekeeping and safe traffic management in dispatch bays, staging and drum yard; enforce pedestrian / MHE segregation.
10. Report and record every incident, near miss, damage or spill immediately; take first-response action per SDS and site emergency plan.
11. Monitor team productivity and attendance, arrange overtime within approved limits during peaks (outbound above 500 KL/day), and feed back performance to the Warehouse Manager.
12. Train and coach new operators on SOPs; participate in Kaizen / continuous-improvement actions and WMS UAT where required; cover the inbound leader during absence.
