Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and procurement of construction materials, civil works, and related services for ACE Properties. The role involves vendor management, competitive quotations, rate negotiations, comparative statements, purchase orders, and procurement documentation in accordance with company policies and approval procedures.
Key Responsibility:
- Source and maintain approved vendors for construction materials, civil works, and related services.
- Obtain competitive quotations separately for each project site and seek updated rates when market prices change.
- Prepare and verify Comparative Statements of Quotations, ensuring accurate rates, quantities, totals, and tax calculations.
- Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors (QS), QA Officers, and site teams for rate verification, GRNs, and supply reconciliation.
- Negotiate rates, document vendor commitments, and maintain records of quotation validity and price variation clauses.
- Prepare monthly purchase orders for contract-based supplies and ensure invoice rates match approved rates.
- Process requisitions, comparative statements, and purchase orders through ERP/Relevant portal, ensuring compliance with Company Policy.
- Maintain complete, site-wise procurement records and support vendor evaluations and annual rate benchmarking.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Construction Management, or a relevant discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction procurement, supply chain, or site purchasing.
- Knowledge of construction materials, measurement units (CFT, tonnes, bags), and prevailing market rates..
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS or similar procurement systems.
