Key Responsibilities

  • Support project and program objectives for equipment installation in Korea region, ensuring preliminary activities (scope definition, milestone setting, feasibility review, and resource planning for optimal installation execution) are completed on time.

  • Drive assigned installation projects and programs to completion in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to installation quality, cost, resource utilization, and lead time performance.

  • Manage and maintain global installation systems and dashboards to provide accurate visibility to Korea and global stakeholders, and ensure data integrity across regions.

  • Partner with other regions (HQ, APAC, Global Installation teams) to benchmark best practices, share capacity, and drive initiatives that reduce Korea installation lead time and improve overall cycle time.

  • Coordinate with Korea and stakeholders to align installation schedules, resolve resource conflicts, and ensure smooth cross-functional execution.

  • Proactively manage Korea resource shortages and forward planning – forecast headcount/skill gaps, coordinate with global teams for temporary support, and propose mitigation plans to sustain installation output during peak demand.

  • Ensure that all phases of installation project and program development are properly documented, and that key information is reported, disseminated, or transferred to relevant functions. Ensure compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.

  • Undertake study of new installation methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve installation efficiency and quality.

  • Support data collection for material and financial resources related to installation programs.

Functional Knowledge

Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in installation program management and resource planning, and broadens capabilities across global systems, dashboards, and cross-regional operations.

Business Expertise

Understands key business drivers of the Installation business – lead time, resource utilization, and customer commitment – and uses this understanding to accomplish own work and support Korea region priorities.

Leadership

No supervisory responsibilities, but provides informal guidance to new team members on installation processes, global tools/dashboards, and cross-region collaboration practices.

Problem Solving

Solves problems in straightforward situations related to resource allocation, lead time bottlenecks, and stakeholder alignment; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, precedents, and judgment.

Impact

Impacts the quality of own work and the work of the Installation team; works within established guidelines and policies to deliver optimal installation outcomes for Korea region.

Interpersonal Skills

Explains complex information (e.g., resource plans, lead time drivers, dashboard insights) clearly to Korea and global stakeholders in straightforward situations.
