Description
The Industrial Engineering Technician at IKA supports process and manufacturing operations by managing process documentation, maintaining ERP data, and facilitating technical and product-related activities. This role ensures efficient workflows, accurate system records, and smooth implementation of product transfers.
- Process ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) for process operations.
- Support software updates, system changes, and installations for process equipment.
- Create, facilitate, and document FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) and IQ/OQ (Installation & Operational Qualification).
- Develop, maintain, and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and work instructions.
- Enter and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and routings in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Monitor and clear Cogi messages for process activities.
- Create and correct purchase requisitions for process needs.
- Facilitate test series and implement product transfers efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and lab operations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
