- Develop and maintain analytical models, datasets and forecasting methodologies that improve portfolio performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with Trading, Risk, Finance, Treasury and Technology teams to provide actionable market intelligence and commercial recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation and innovation across forecasting, analytics and market intelligence capabilities.
About You
We're looking for someone whose experience aligns with the key requirements below. You do not need to meet every "helpful for success" item to apply. If you bring relevant experience and are excited by the opportunity, we encourage you to submit an application.
Required for Success
• Safety focus: A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.

• Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience in energy markets, economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, data science or a related discipline.
• Market Knowledge: Deep practical understanding of the National Electricity Market (NEM), including market dynamics, pricing drivers and interpretation of complex market datasets.
• Systems: Experience using analytical and reporting tools, advanced Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI or similar tools for analysing and modelling large market and interval datasets.
• Experience developing electricity market forecasts, scenario analysis or quantitative models that support commercial or trading decisions.
• Exposure to electricity derivatives, PPAs, environmental products or broader energy trading activities.
