Job Summary:The Manager of Campground and Front Office Operations (MCFO) is responsible for overseeing parkwide Front Office and Campground Front Desk operations. They will supervise a team responsible for assisting in the creation of training content, initial Front Office/Campground training content delivery, ongoing development, support at all Campground and Front Office positions.

Responsibilities
- Legendary Guest Service: The MCFO will work to ensure that Legendary Guest Service standards are maintained at Front Desks and Campgrounds. This will be done by appropriately balancing standardization and personalization, collaboration with cross-departmental business partners and training of managers.
- Front Desk Skill Training: The MCFO will supervise a team of trainers (Lodging Front Office Trainers/LFOT) responsible for delivering skill-specific training material to incoming/returning Front Desk and Campground employees throughout the park.
- Provide Property Support: During noteworthy periods of a property’s operation (openings, closings, management changes and staff shortages) the MCFO will assign LFOT assistance and provide support personally as resources require and allow. This may include the MCFO or members of their team acting in the role of any Front Desk or Campground position.
- Learning and Development Collaboration: The MCFO will work with the L+D team, assessing needs regarding Front Desk and Campground specific training matters. They will be responsible for communicating and assigning relevant tasks resulting from collaborations to their team. At the discretion of the MCFO this may include providing subject matter expertise, attendance at developmental trainings, and other tasks as assigned. They will also assure completion of administrative/L3 tasks on behalf of their LFOT team.
- Ongoing Employee Development: The MCFO will monitor the skill competency of Front Desk and Campground operations parkwide, assigning LFOT assistance to continually develop and hone the skills of Front Desk and Campground managers and staff. This may be in response to performance concerns or proactive employee growth.
- Remote Support: The MCFO will ensure that Front Desk and Campground managers have access to a member of the Lodging Support Team via phone/email during departmental operating hours for the purposes of answering questions and providing advice.
- Cross-departmental Collaboration: The MCFO will build and maintain strong relationships with business partners related to the operation of Campground and Front Desks. This includes Lodging managers, Hotel Managers and other stakeholders. They will assist with: advice, coaching, leadership selection, leadership transition, critical conversations and other tasks as needed to ensure successful operation of the parks Campground and Front Desk operations.
- PBX Management: The MCFO will be responsible for managing the operation of the PBX Concierge team – ensuring superb service to guests who reach this line for purposes such as making reservations, asking for information and providing feedback.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience at Front Desk or Campground preferred.
- Must be 19 years of age and possess a valid US Driver’s License
- Strong leadership skills
- Collaborative and amicable demeanor
- Ability to work both independently and with a variety of personalities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate competency with all related Microsoft Office, Opera PMS, Cloudsuite and all other related computer software.
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Effective teaching skills
- Knowledge of Company and Department policies and procedures
- Ability to make prompt, realistic, and fair decisions
Physical Requirements include:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in a variety of environments, including guest rooms, outdoor spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and other maintenance-related products.
- In-park travel and overnight stays required
