M22 - Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise technology projects from planning through implementation. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to analyse requirements, design scalable solutions, manage project execution, and ensure successful delivery. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT project delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Oversee system integration activities to ensure seamless interoperability across enterprise platforms and external systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members.
• Monitor application performance and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability, security, and scalability.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, system design documents, test plans, and project reports.
• Manage vendors and external partners to ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve project issues.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, systems analysis, or enterprise application delivery.
• Proven experience managing projects throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Hands-on technical knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Angular, SQL, and object-oriented application development.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendors, project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise or public sector digital transformation projects is an advantage.
